Accumulation Tables are typically 2 conveyors side by side running in opposite directions with a divert rail at both ends to help accumulate products.

Rules of Thumb

Only products with smooth bottom surfaces should be accumulated to prevent them from being damaged.

Products need parallel front and back surfaces in order to have consistent contact with each other during accumulation.

Once square or rectangle products are released into curves, products in front are pushed forward because of the effect of the curving path on square objects.

Back pressure decreases drastically when accumulating on tube top chain.

Increasing the angle of the tube top accumulation conveyor can drop the back pressure even further.
