Span Tech LLC®, a global manufacturer of custom built plastic chain conveyor systems, will be opening a new Sales & Service center and testing facility in Waukesha, WI. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held at the WI facility on November 8th. Bud Layne, CEO believes the expansion is very beneficial in creating better partnerships with our clients. “We want to provide a complete testing facility where our customers can come in and test ideas.
The Sales & Service Center will be devoted to service training and product testing. Dale Casper, Regional Sales Manager, says, “This will provide the opportunity to see Span Tech’s conveyors up close and the ability to test product specific to the industry need. The goal is to educate current and future partners on the full capabilities of Span Tech conveyors and where the best applications apply.”
Span Tech has hired Service Sales & Operations Manager, Dave Byrnes, to oversee the day to day operations at the new facility. “Our goal is to improve upon our customer service by inviting current and future partners into the new facility and educate them about all of our conveyor systems, where they are applicable and how to maintain them properly. Ultimately, we want to give them the lowest total cost of ownership possible.”
Dave has been involved in many areas of manufacturing and has worked with customers in the auto, agriculture, department of defense, aviation, marine, rail and food & beverage industries. Span Tech believes with his extensive background in several different types of industries, Dave will be able to understand the application needs of all of their customers.
